Treble Ensemble Pianist

The Treble Ensemble Pianist will work closely with all members of the YNYC Artistic Team to help bring our programming to life. The Treble Ensemble Pianist will work closely with our General & Artistic Director, Treble Ensemble Assistant Director, as well as other YNYC staff to create a productive and enjoyable music-making environment. Applicants who share regular scheduling conflicts later in the application process will be disqualified. We will consider applicants who only have collaborative experience with instrumentalists, but applicants with experience working with vocal ensembles will receive preference.Demonstrate excellence at the keyboard, including sight-reading,open score reading, and flexibility and mastery with a wide range of musical styles and difficulty.Experience premiering music and collaborating with composers is a plusExperience singing in choral ensembles is a huge plusExperience working with Treble singers and ensembles is a huge plusComfortable working with dedicated, passionate volunteers who sing at a high-level.Proficiency in Google Workspace apps The in-person audition will be a trial rehearsal with our Artistic Team and Treble Ensemble.
