Qualifications: Successful candidates for this vacancy will demonstrate superior musicality and versatility, outstanding technique, and advanced sight-reading ability. Monday, November 9, 2026: Live audition held at the Washington Navy Yard, Washington, D.C. Benefits: Upon completion of basic training, members of the U.S. Navy Band are advanced to the paygrade of E-6 (Musician 1st Class) under a contract for permanent assignment to the U.S. Navy Band, Washington, D.C.
