Violin Auditions

Tucson Symphony Orchestra Tucson, AZ, United StatesThe Tucson Symphony Orchestra is announcing auditions for various violin positions scheduled for September 16, 2026. Available roles include multiple permanent, salaried positions for Violin I and Violin II, as well as a per-service position for Violin I. Candidates should be highly qualified, as the Audition Committee reserves the right to dismiss any applicant who does not meet professional standards. Additional vacancies may be filled from this audition within a year of the event. To apply, interested musicians must submit a brief one-page resume by August 26, 2026, to [email protected], including their name, phone number, email address, and instrument. A $50 deposit is required from those invited to audition, which will be refunded upon attendance or cancellation within 72 hours. The audition repertoire is available online, and candidates may bring their own parts if preferred. All communication regarding the audition will be conducted via email.
