Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and engaging private Violin teacher to teach weekly one-on-one lessons to beginner and intermediate students.

This is a part-time contract position ideal for a professional musician, music graduate, or experienced private instructor.

Responsibilities

Teach weekly private violin lessons (30–60 minutes)Create structured, individualized lesson plansDevelop strong foundational technique and music literacyTrack student progressCommunicate professionally with parentsParticipate in studio recitals and events⸻

Qualifications

Degree in Music (completed or in progress) preferredPrevious private music teaching experience preferredStrong classical string backgroundExperience working with children, teens, and adultsReliable transportation to Waxhaw is requiredProfessional, punctual, and organized⸻
