The ideal candidate will have a strong background in violin performance and teaching, with the ability to inspire students of all ages and skill levels. Duties • Design and implement engaging violin lessons tailored to students’ individual needs and skill levels • Develop comprehensive curriculum plans that incorporate music theory, technique, and performance skills • Manage classroom environments to ensure a safe, respectful, and motivating space for learning • Provide tutoring and support for students preparing for recitals or exams • Track student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly • Organize performances or recitals to showcase student achievements • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, or other educators to support student development • Maintain organized lesson plans and educational materials Qualifications • Candidates who have earned or are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Music or Music Education are preferred. • Strong proficiency in violin performance and music theory • Experience with curriculum development and lesson planning • Effective classroom management and behavior management skills • Proven ability to teach students of diverse ages, including children, preschoolers, and adults • Experience working with children, early childhood education, or special education is preferred • Ability to create engaging lessons that incorporate arts such as theater or dance • Familiarity with classroom experience and behavior management techniques • Skills in tutoring and adapting instruction for different learning styles • Excellent communication skills and a passion for fostering childhood development through music education Others: • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application.
