Violin Teacher

Elizabeth Farrell Music, a well established and vibrant music school with 2 Sarasota locations and a 3rd sister school location in North Port (The Rock Box) is looking for a talented and reliable professional musician with a minimum Bachelors Degree in a field of Music (music minors will be considered) with principal instrument being an Orchestral String (violin/viola/cello)

QUALIFICATIONS:
We seek a qualified professional, degreed and highly proficient in teaching strings to all levels. We will also consider single instrument proficiency (ie. violin only, cello only etc). Those who have experience teaching secondary instruments (guitar piano etc) is a huge plus. Must be comfortable teaching all ages, with a particularly great rapport with children. Prior teaching experience with a proven track record is also required. We frequently engage in collaboration between teachers and students and need a team-player.

SCHEDULE:
Our Sarasota locations are incredibly busy and looking to replace an exisiting instructor with a 5 day week schedule. This schedule can be taken as - is or split amongst more than one new hire, with the minimum number of teaching days being 3 across any of our locations.
Although work hours can be somewhat flexible, typical teaching hours are approximately 1-8pm during the week.

START DATE:
This position can start as early as June 8th or as late as 7/6.
