Violin Teachers Needed - Las Vegas, NV ($50/hr)

We're looking for passionate, nurturing musicians to join our incredible team of amazing music teachers making $50/hr+ teaching lessons in students' homes. Women, BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and educators of all backgrounds are encouraged to apply. As a private violin teacher , you will have the opportunity to share your love for music with students of all ages and skill levels, providing personalized lessons in the comfort of students' homes. Flexible schedule: Choose your own teaching hours and distance, and create a schedule that works for you. Responsibilities: Be fun and engaging with students and families Provide one‑on‑one music lessons to students in their homes Create individualized lesson plans based on student's goals, interests, and skill level Instruct students on proper playing techniques, music theory, and performance skills Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages creativity and musical growth Maintain regular communication with students and their families to track progress and address any concerns Be active on social media and encourage students to participate in challenges, recitals and other development programs Professional and timely communication with students, families, and staff Requirements: Proficiency in one or more musical instruments (based on student demand) Reliable transportation to travel to students' homes for lessons Strong passion for music and a desire to inspire others Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate students of varying ages and skill levels Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Teaching experience is a plus Experience working with children is a plus Experience teaching in students' homes is a plus Bachelor's degree or higher in music preferred, but not required - equivalent performance experience will be considered Students completing their bachelor's degree or higher in music are also encouraged to apply Join our team of dedicated instructors at Doorstep Music Lessons and make a difference in the lives of aspiring musicians.
