About KAM Knoxville Academy of Music is a growing private music school in Farragut serving students of all ages and levels. We're looking for a skilled violin instructor to join our team as an independent contractor.
The Role You'll teach private violin lessons to students ranging from beginners to more advanced players. You set your availability — we handle enrollment, scheduling, and billing so you can focus on what you do best.
Paid per completed lesson with a transparent pay structure
You maintain your own teaching style and curriculum approach
Supportive office team handles the administrative side
Lessons held at our Farragut studio
What We're Looking For
Strong proficiency in violin, with the ability to teach across skill levels and ages
Familiarity with multiple methods (Suzuki, traditional, etc.) a plus
Previous teaching experience preferred; exceptional musicians without formal teaching experience are encouraged to apply
Music degree, formal training, or professional performance background
Patient, communicative, and reliable
