Young Musicians of Alamance (YMA) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that offers instrumental and general music education to elementary, middle, and high school students in Burlington, NC. This part-time role for a Violin/Viola Instructor will involve teaching students of different levels, including beginners and advanced students. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to the YMA curriculum, a willingness to learn and adapt, and a passion for fostering the artistic and personal development of young musicians. Qualifications • Experience teaching violin/viola to students of all ages and levels • Ability to create and implement lesson plans and learning goals • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide feedback and communicate with parents and students • Ability to engage and motivate students of all ages and levels in music education • Bachelor's degree in Music or a related field is preferred but not required • Proficiency in violin and/or viola playing. • Ability to work collaboratively with other faculty members and staff.
