This position involves leading the university's marching and pep bands, teaching music history courses for first-year non-majors, and other specialized courses such as Marching Band Drill Design or Instrumental Skills. • Teach music courses related to the candidate's expertise, including foundational music history courses offered to non-music students as part of the Core/Liberal Studies program. • Medical, Dental & Vision insurance programs are available. The Music Program offers a minor in Music with both instrumental and vocal tracks. Primarily a performance-based program, the Music Program is home to over 400 (non-major) students who participate in any of our 19 performing ensembles or enroll in a variety of courses in music theory and history.
