Vocal Teacher - ages 9 - 17

Thank you for considering this part-time position. We are looking for a Vocal Instructor to teach vocals at our studio. Individual Lessons and small group (Musical Theatre Experience is a major plus).

Start Date (August 1st)

Previous experience teaching children ages 9-17 with references is required.

Previous Vocal Performance within a Musical Theatre context is also strongly preferred (but not required). You would teach a combination of individual voice lessons as well as small workshops/groups.

Your Schedule is:

Monday 3:15pm - 7pm

Tuesdays 4pm - 7:30pm

Wednesdays 4pm - 7:30pm

Duties to include:

Teaching Vocals individual vocal lessons as well as to small groups (we are doing Jungle Book Kids Fall 2026, Willy Wonka Jr Fall 2026, Willy Wonka Kids Spring 2027, JR show TBD), and conducting smaller Vocal Masterclass Workshops
Some acting guidance coaching for lines during, right before, or right after a song
Individual Voice Lessons for students

Preferences in hiring:

Preference will be given to applicants who:

Have previous experience teaching children in a group setting
Have previous verifiable work history of dependability and consistency
Have previous Musical Theatre Teaching experience
Have directed or assistant-directed in previous productions

Requirements in hiring:

Must be available for Monday - Wednesday
Must be able to pass background checks (criminal)
Must genuinely enjoy teaching children and have previous successful and verifiable experience teaching children ages 9-17

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $48.00 per hour
