Vocals or Piano Teacher

Music & Arts is seeking a dedicated Vocals or Piano Teacher to join our lesson program in a busy retail environment. In this role, you will provide engaging one on one and small group instruction to students of all ages and abilities, developing customized lesson plans that build strong musical fundamentals, technique, and performance skills. You'll track progress, prepare students for recitals and auditions, and communicate regularly with families. Working closely with store staff, you'll help grow the lesson program while contributing to a collaborative, student focused, and community oriented culture that supports music education and inspires lifelong musicianship.

Responsibilities

Provide individual and small-group vocal or piano lessons to students of varying ages and skill levelsDevelop personalized lesson plans that align with Music & Arts teaching standards and student goalsPrepare students for recitals, auditions, and school or community performancesAssess student progress regularly and adjust instruction, repertoire, and techniques as neededCommunicate with parents and students about scheduling, goals, and progressMaintain accurate attendance, progress notes, and required lesson documentationCollaborate with store staff to support enrollments, recitals, and in store educational eventsCare for and properly use studio instruments, teaching materials, and lesson spacesPromote a positive, inclusive, and student focused learning environmentRequired Skills
