Voice Instructor

Job Overview The ability to teach additional instruments is a strong plus and can lead to a larger student roster. Experience with other instruments not listed may also be considered. Key Responsibilities • Design and deliver engaging vocal and music lessons that encourage creativity and musical growth • Teach core musical skills such as pitch, rhythm, tone, and basic music theory • Adapt lesson plans to match each student’s goals, learning style, and experience level • Create a positive, encouraging studio environment that supports student confidence and progress • Provide individualized instruction and feedback to help students reach their potential • Prepare students for recitals, performances, and showcase opportunities • Work collaboratively with fellow instructors to support academy-wide programs and events • Track student development and adjust teaching approaches as needed Desired Qualifications • Strong foundation in voice and general music skills • Prior teaching, coaching, or tutoring experience is preferred but not required • Ability to manage lessons effectively while keeping students motivated and engaged • Genuine enthusiasm for music education and student success • Clear communication skills when working with students, families, and staff
