Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role for a Voice Teacher located in Pittsburgh, PA. The Voice Teacher will be responsible for delivering effective and engaging vocal instruction to students of varying skill levels. Key responsibilities include conducting individual and group voice lessons, preparing students for performances, teaching foundational and advanced vocal techniques, and encouraging students to develop their unique musical style. Monitoring student progress and maintaining detailed lesson plans will also be integral to the role.

Qualifications

Expertise in Vocal Coaching, Vocal Instruction, and conducting private and group Voice Lessons

Solid understanding of Music Theory and Music Education principles to support student learning

Proven ability to foster a positive and inspiring learning environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Previous teaching experience in vocal performance is preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Music, Vocal Performance, or a related field is a plus

Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently

Job Type: Contract
