Indianapolis Music Academy is looking for a voice teacher to work at our location at 5703 S. East St. Indianapolis for one or two evenings a week from around 4 or 5pm until 8pm.
Our students general want to learn pop, rock and material from musicals.
Must demonstrate an understanding of music concepts and be able to communicate those concepts effectively to students
Must have an understanding of music theory and technique relevant to Voice
Effective time management and organizational skills to keep students on task in a lesson
Experienced performer (either solo or group)
Experience working with youth and/or beginning musicians
Ability to interact effectively with children and adults
Ability to pass a background check
Our mission is to inspire members of the community to love to make music through music instruction. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to inspire and engage both children and adults in voice instruction. The successful candidate will also demonstrate the ability and desire to keep a stable schedule.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
