**About the Position****Ensemble Schools** is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional **voice instructor** to teach part-time at **Middle C Music**, our Washington DC location. We are looking for teachers who will instruct IN PERSON. Experience working with younger kids would be beneficial.

Teachers can set their availability within our open hours as needed, but both students and school staff appreciate consistency. Preference will be given to candidates with **Sunday availability**.

Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance, pedagogy, music education, or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.

Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and education and will be in the range of $40-45/hour. Health benefits options and a 401K with employer match are available for all part- and full-time employees at Ensemble after 30 days of employment.

We are the only full-service music store operating in the District of Columbia. Our teachers specialize in a variety musical styles and instruments and help students chart a path to successfully learning an instrument or growing singing ability. We offer music lessons on Guitar, Drums, Violin, Voice, Piano, Ukulele, Woodwinds and Brass Instruments all in one location for students of all ages.
