Do you love singing, performing, and helping people discover their voice?

Strait School of Music is looking for a passionate and engaging Voice Teacher to join our growing music school. We’re looking for someone who loves teaching, enjoys working with students of all ages, and wants to be part of a fun, supportive music community.

You’ll teach private voice lessons to children, teens, and adults with a variety of musical interests and experience levels. Whether a student wants to build confidence, prepare for an audition, learn to sing their favorite songs, or become a stronger performer, you’ll help them reach their goals.

Current teaching availability needed: Thursday and Saturday.

What You'll Do

Teach engaging, high-quality private voice lessons.Work with students ranging from young beginners to adults.Adapt your teaching approach to each student's goals, personality, and learning style.Teach healthy vocal technique, breath support, pitch, tone, performance skills, and musicianship.Help students build confidence and develop a lifelong love of music.Communicate professionally with students, parents, and the Strait School of Music team.Maintain a positive, encouraging, and welcoming lesson environment.What We're Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is a great singer, a great teacher, and a great person to work with.

You should:

Have experience teaching private voice lessons and/or music classes.Be comfortable teaching children, teens, and adults.Have strong vocal technique and musicianship.Be able to teach a variety of musical styles and genres.Be encouraging, patient, and engaging with students.Be dependable and professional.Have strong communication skills.Be willing to complete a background check.A degree in music or equivalent professional experience is preferred, but not required.

Professional performance or gigging experience is a plus, but not required.
