The goal of this leader is to support and enhance the Sunday morning worship experience through the leading of both contemporary and traditional music, such that God is glorified by the sincere worship of His saints. Role and responsibilities: • Lead music between 1-3 Sundays per month • Lead, mentor, and encourage a team of volunteer musicians • Manage the music scheduling calendar • Hold music practice sessions • Oversee tech team responsible for in-house media production and live stream • Ensure song lyrics are consistent with sound Biblical teaching, in agreement with our doctrinal statement, and aligned to sermon topics • Be accountable to the church elders • High level of initiative, motivation, and enthusiasm • Willingness to become a member of Crossroads This is a part-time hourly position paid at $20-25/hr, commensurate with experience. • Prior Worship Video Link: In your resume (or a cover letter, if you prefer), provide a link to a prior worship service which you have led.
