Worship Musician

Musical Leadership Position We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a musical leader. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing a vision for the music program at our place of worship. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and growing the music program; • Scheduling and supporting regularly scheduled weekly choir rehearsals; • Supporting extra rehearsals for seasonal programs, special programs, and individual rehearsals with soloists, ensembles, and guest musicians as needed; • Working with the Pastor to plan musical elements for weekly services and special events; • Providing accompaniment for choir and congregation during weekly worship and special services; Requirements • A music degree is preferred; • Past experience as an accompanist in a church setting; • Proficiency on organ and piano; • Dependability and enthusiasm;
