Youth Music Teachers Needed - Piano and/or Guitar

Their teachers are a passionate group who make a difference in the lives of each and every student - they are not only outstanding musicians, but relate to young people and their unique needs. Individual and peer-based small group learning environments help to facilitate social and emotional growth, while students learn the fundamentals of music performance and theory, gaining confidence and self-esteem along the way. UpBeat currently employs 15 instructors, along with 5 interns and a studio manager, and they are excited to welcome more teachers to their team! The new instructors will focus on piano and/or guitar instruction, based on their areas of expertise and interest. - proficiency on piano and/or guitar - strong understanding of music theory - a passion for working with youth - previous experience in music education, summer camps, or similar settings preferred - previous teaching experience preferred - formal music education or training - we are unable to consider self-taught musicians at this time
