Youth Musicians Needed to Perform in Older Adult Facilities

**Overview:** LITA's Bridging Thru Music program is seeking young, enthusiastic musicians ages 10 through 19 to perform in Marin's Long Term Care facilities, engaging with residents and spreading the joy of music in a low-pressure setting. **Responsibilities:** • Perform as a solo artist, duo, band, or small ensemble in Long Term Care facilities • Engage with residents through music, fostering inter-generational connections • Participate in program coordination and support, guided by LITA staff • Collaborate with other musicians and LITA staff to create a positive and enjoyable experience for residents • *Qualifications:** • Age 10 through 19 • Ability to perform in a low-pressure setting • Enthusiasm for music and interacting with older adults • Willingness to work with LITA staff and other musicians • *Benefits:** • Opportunity to spread joy and connect with older adults through music • Low-pressure performance environment • Support and coordination provided by LITA staff • Chance to develop inter-generational engagement and communication skills • Fun and rewarding experience
