YOUTH SYMPHONY PERSONNEL MANAGER

The Santa Barbara Symphony, a non-profit organization, is seeking to hire a Youth Symphony Personnel Manager. The Youth Symphony serves the most advanced students in the Symphony’s 3-tier Youth Ensembles program. The SBYS Personnel Manager is responsible for supporting the Youth Symphony throughout the school year by managing and executing orchestra chair and stand set-up, opening and closing the facilities, taking attendance, correspondence with parents and Youth Symphony student musicians, keeping and distributing sheet music as requested, assisting musicians, sectional coaches, and the Youth Symphony Conductor as needed. The SBYS Personnel Manager manages and oversees all rehearsals and concerts for the Youth Symphony and is directly responsible for the Youth Symphony musicians at both rehearsals and concerts when they are not under the supervision of their legal guardians.
