A&R Research Intern - Hip-Hop & R&B

Established in 2015, Create Music Group is a leading music and entertainment company. The company operates as a record label, distribution company, and entertainment network which generates over 15 billion music streams each month on DSP’s. This is a hybrid-work role - interns must be able to report to the Los Angeles headquarters 2-3 times per week. Providing the A&R team with extensive Artist and song research and identifying opportunities such as independent artists and songs using both personal research and software.Gathering YouTube data and creating analytics on potential signees.Work within the sales funnel, assisting the tracking of artists leads from identification to signingWork with A&R Team to assist in projects related to developing and maintaining relationships within the creative community, cultivating a strong network of artists, songwriters, producers, engineers, managers, studios, and other creativesMay assist A&R’s in the gathering of song files & links for recent signings Day-to-day tasks and administrative work as needed. We evaluate candidates based on their qualifications and the nature of the offense in relation to the job for which they are applying.
