The position will assist with the scheduling and organization of the Artistic Operations office, and ensure that projects and tasks are completed in a timely manner and at the highest levels. The ideal candidate for the position is also passionate about working with musicians and supporting their artistic goals and projects. The Artistic Operations Coordinator will: • Assist the Associate Vice President of Artistic Operations with project management • Assist the Director of Artistic Operations in the administration of all guest artist visits\ • Update and maintain artist information • Communicate artist needs to appropriate stakeholders • Serve as a liaison between the various departments that fall within the Artistic Operations umbrella, including Ensemble Operations, Production and Concert Operations • Draft artist contracts and coordinate execution process between the Artistic Operations office and artist management • Submit, track, and reconcile all guest artist payments and reimbursements • Advance guest artists' travel and lodging arrangements as needed • Support the Artistic Operations department in annual season planning • Maintain project management timelines and ensure that deadlines are met • Ensure accurate record-keeping and file storage for all relevant data • Concert duty as needed • Performing other duties as assigned SFCM loves to be at the center of good things happening in classical music: attracting the most creative musicians; students and alums doing incredible work ranging from landing positions at the world's top ensembles, to working at the intersection of music and technology in Silicon Valley, to starting their own organizations and even going to medical school; and offering additional programs locally and nationally like the Pre-College curriculum, the Rubin Institute for Music Criticism, and the new Center for Innovative Leadership.
