Experience • Previous experience teaching or leading performing arts classes in educational or community settings • Strong knowledge of multiple artistic disciplines including dance, drama, music or theater production • Proven ability to motivate and engage students of varying ages and backgrounds • Experience planning curriculum activities that foster creativity and skill development • University experience is highly desirable to ensure a well-rounded understanding of arts education principles • Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire confidence and enthusiasm among students • A passion for the performing arts coupled with a commitment to fostering inclusive artistic environments • Timekeeping and Administrative Responsibilities: • Incident Documentation: Maintain thorough records of any incidents or technical disruptions affecting student engagement or lesson delivery. • Incident Reporting: Promptly report any incidents involving students, including behavioral concerns, safety issues, or emergencies, following company protocols. • Complete other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support the organization's needs. • Flexible part-time hours to accommodate your schedule.
