Music Coordinator

The Salvation Army Mission Statement: Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination. The Music Coordinator will shape, nurture, and lead the music ministries at The Salvation Army Kroc Center in Suisun. Recruit, train, and mentor volunteers and musicians—both adults and youth—for worship teams, choirs, brass bands, or other ensembles.Develop music programming and provide instruction for youth ministries, such as singing companies, beginner music lessons, and junior bands.Organize and direct seasonal musical events like Christmas programs, Easter services, and community concerts.Work Schedule: Regular Sundays for church servicesRegular Tuesdays for Joyful Noise Music ProgramWeekly rehearsalAvailable for additional services and rehearsals for holidays and special eventsJoyful Noise Music Program (Every Tuesday) for administrative positionsAbility to operate a computerAbility to process written, visual, and/or verbal informationAbility to operate basic office equipment and tools PC, Fax Machine, Telephone, Calculator, Copier, Printer.Qualified individuals must be able to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
