Music Teacher for Early Childhood Classes

Headliner Music Academy is looking for an enthusiastic and engaging Early Childhood Music Teacher to lead music classes for young children.

Our early childhood classes are designed to introduce children to the joy of music through singing, movement, rhythm, instruments, musical games, stories, and creative play. We’re looking for someone who brings warmth, energy, and creativity to the classroom and knows how to keep young children engaged while creating a positive first experience with music.

This position is a great fit for a patient, expressive, and energetic educator or musician who genuinely enjoys working with young children and is comfortable bringing creativity, enthusiasm, and imagination into the classroom.

Position Responsibilities:

Lead engaging early childhood music classes for toddlers, preschoolers, and young childrenPrepare for and deliver classes using Headliner Music Academy's curriculum, lesson plans, and activitiesIntroduce foundational music concepts through singing, rhythm, movement, instruments, games, and creative activitiesCreate a warm, welcoming, and safe environment where children feel comfortable participating and exploringEncourage participation and build children's confidence through positive reinforcementCommunicate warmly and professionally with parents and caregiversGuide parents and caregivers in participating in classes when applicableParticipate in academy events and performances as neededRequirements:

Background in the arts (theater, art, music, etc...) and/or experience working with young children in an educational, musical, performing arts, childcare, or similar environmentComfortable leading and engaging groups of young childrenEnergetic, expressive, patient, and encouraging personalityAbility to communicate musical concepts in a fun, simple, and developmentally appropriate wayComfortable singing independently and leading children in songsAbility to play a musical instrument such as (piano/keyboard or guitar) preferredComfortable incorporating movement, storytelling, games, and imaginative play into lessonsStrong classroom management, organizational, and time-management skillsAbility to interact effectively and professionally with both children and adultsReliable and comfortable working in an active, energetic classroom environmentAbility to pass a background checkWhy Join Headliner?Headliner Music Academy offers the opportunity to work a flexible, part-time schedule in a creative and supportive environment alongside other musicians and educators.

We handle the marketing, scheduling, enrollment, billing, and other administrative aspects of our programs so you can focus on creating a fun and meaningful experience for your students.

Compensation is hourly and based on education, experience, musical background, and availability.
