• Shadow A&R staff on real projects to understand the process of developing artists and building records • Contribute to the preparation of materials for internal creative meetings and artist presentations • Gain an understanding of how A&R intersects with other label functions including marketing, digital strategy and production • Participate in cross-functional projects that contribute to the success of upcoming releases. How You'll CREATE: • Assist with the coordination of marketing plans for upcoming releases, including timelines, assets and promotional rollouts • Conduct market research and analysis on trends, audiences and competitive artists to inform campaign strategies • Help develop and organize marketing materials such as social media assets, visuals, promotional assets and press materials • Support artist events, listening sessions, photoshoots and promotional activations as needed • Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions for upcoming releases and marketing activations • Monitor social media platforms, tracking engagement and compiling performance reports • Update internal trackers and databases to monitor campaign timelines and deliverables • Create a marketing cheat sheet/project management tool to better inform, prepare, and automate a checklist on the standard deliverable elements across all projects • Collate deliverables into an adaptable checklist with assignments and accompanying deadlines and deliverables. How You'll CREATE: • Support media outreach efforts and help maintain updated media lists • Monitor press coverage and compile weekly press reports • Assist with planning and logistics for red carpets, showcases, screenings and award-week events • Support guest list management, credential tracking, and onsite event coordination • Conduct research on artists, media outlets, trends, and competitive campaigns • Coordinate internal documents, calendars, and schedules as needed • Collaborate with the team on day-to-day tasks to support artist releases and label communications • Oversee press strategies and social media overview of the label Ideal candidates will have: • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a strong interest in music journalism and storytelling • Working knowledge of content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and social media publishing tools • Familiarity with social and digital platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) and awareness of trends in music and pop culture • Basic understanding of e-commerce or digital marketing principles (experience with Shopify or similar platforms is a plus) How You'll CREATE: • Assist with marketing strategy development • Track campaign performance • Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions • Help organize promotional assets • Update marketing reports • Research audience and trend insights to support upcoming releases • Assist with social media planning, content creation, drafting copy, updating marketing calendars • Coordinate/support event/activation planning /listening sessions • Deck Creation
